Why we exist!
Unedited MD2 comments:
“My name is Howard. I really called to commend you on a great, great employee, Soren. He was here with my nurse last week and we had problems with loading it and the nurse wasn’t sure. He spent a lot of time with us to explain all the procedures for loading the MD2. And when she left a day or two afterwards, it jammed on me last night and I couldn’t get any of my meds out. I finally got it to release and when I called Soren, he was on his way somewhere (Saturday) and spoke with me in the car for a half hour and at least walked me through it to get my meds out of there and he’s just incredible! He’s just a very brilliant guy. So I just wanted to let you know you have a super employee and I really appreciate that." - Howard from Lafayette
We have an entire team doing the same thing, every day, statewide.
Fall Detector
Mountain Home Medical has been providing a Fall Detector for several years. We have not overly promoted it because we thought the technology needed improvement. We are now in the 3rd generation Fall Detector, which has been on the market for 5 years.
Fall Detection is easily hyped. Any fall detection device, worn around the waist or neck, has the potential for false positives.
We recommend that the Fall Detector is used in conjunction with PERS.The Fall Detector works 3 ways. It detects a fall on impact, the button on the Fall Detector can be pushed, or the pendant button can be pushed.Call or email with questions or comments.Coming SoonIn a few weeks we will be “officially” releasing a new Mobile Care unit. The information should hit your mailbox by the end of April.
